About The Program

Formed in 1998,  the New Trier Feeder Basketball program offers an outstanding opportunity for middle school and junior high school boys to improve their skills through competitive play and team instruction.  The program is made up of players from the New Trier feeder school districts at the 6th, 7th and 8th grade levels.  Each team (A and B) has 10 players.

Our goal is simple; develop future Trevians individually and collectively by teaching the concepts of TEAM basketball.

All of our coaches are former New Trier basketball players that share a vested interest in supporting the New Trier community and guiding future Trevian basketball players.  We have experience coaching/leading youth basketball teams and developing young aspiring players.  We coach our players to have fun, play hard, play smart and play as a team.

· Practices are held twice a week on weekday evenings November through the end of February.  Practices are usually held between 7-9pm.

· 20-25 games scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays from January through first week in March.

· Our schedule rarely conflicts with local school teams.  Players should give priority to school-related obligations, including school team practices and games.

· $1,100 participation fee
